Today I am thankful that Philip gets to come home!
What a long 48 hours it has been. We left our home Friday afternoon to head to the Hospital so that Philip could enter the world. Arriving at around 5pm, little did we know that just 3 hours and 14 minutes later he would be in our arms.
This entire pregnancy has been so different. Not that I experienced it, but for my wife at least it has been different. I do love that all three of my kids have been different and it’s been a new adventure for each of them. This time I actually got to help deliver him. With my first two children I wasn’t ready to help do that. This time though, I am a different dad. I am a better dad. What an experience it is to help deliver my own son. Just wow!
I am eager to bring my boy home! I am positive Stephanie can’t wait to be back in her own bed and I know Kimmi and Daniel can not wait to play with their little brother. It’s going to be an exciting adventure! That’s life though! The Cheeseman life! I believe that anyone can have a great life. It’s simply a matter of perspective. I don’t have everything I would like to have, but right now, I have everything I need.
God is Good all the time and all the time God is Good!
