Today I am thankful for Worship Music.
I don’t know about you but I love listening to music. In fact, I almost walk to the tune of some song everywhere I go. I like all types of music too. Today though, I want to mention Worship Music.
Spending time in the presence of God is so important for the life of a Christian. I’ve been going through the Old Testament lately and just reading about Moses and the time He would spend in the presence of God has really got me thinking. How intentional am I about the time I spend with my Heavenly Father? It’s so important! And it’s so good for you.
I was speaking to children just this morning about how Jesus is the Bread of Life. When we know that He is the Bread of Life than we know He gives life. So if He is the giver of life than why wouldn’t we go to Him to get filled up? When you talk to Him He gives you life, when you read the Word He gives you life, when you worship Him He gives you life.
Worship music to me is more than just a song. It’s the power of the Holy Spirit behind worship music that can lift your spirit. Worship music helps me. It’s soothes me. It’s helps me to block out distraction so that I can focus on my King.
I figured if I’m going to talk about worship I should at least recommend some good worship music. So here you go;
