Today I am thankful for Thank you cards.
In our media/technology driven society the art of hand writing a letter is almost a feint memory. There is just something different about receiving a hand written letter. At least for me.
It might take an equal amount of time to write a letter as to type a letter, but there is just something special about receiving a handwritten one. It might be inconvenience, but think about the extra blessing it is to the receiving end. I mean, when you receive a handwritten note it makes you stop. It makes you think about the time it might have taken for the sending party to make and then actually send it. It took an extra bit of thought and care.
If you haven’t sent a handwritten note to someone recently, you should try it. Buy a small pack of thank you cards from your local store and send a few to friends/family. Just a simple thank you or thinking of you goes a long way. Trust me, it’s worth the effort.
